Where ORVIA sits

Between informal support and formal professional intervention.

ORVIA prepares the chronology, evidence index, source record, contradictions, gaps and professional questions so the appropriate professional can act within their own role.

Not legal advice. Not informal opinion. Structured evidence preparation before professional action.

The human problem

When care is drifting, internal assurance often doesn’t catch it. Families cannot see what is happening. Providers cannot always tell whether their own systems are working. Commissioners need an independent read that isn’t supplied by the organisation being reviewed.

ORVIA Care Assurance prepares that read. It is not regulation, not inspection, not clinical care and not a substitute for statutory safeguarding routes.

Pilot routes

Care Assurance is in paid pilot development. Enquiries are triaged and offered a scoping conversation before any commitment.

What ORVIA does

  • Reads care records, incidents, complaints and assurance evidence
  • Builds a chronology and source index
  • Identifies patterns, weak challenge and unspoken risk
  • Names contradictions between assurance and reality
  • Prepares a professional-handover pack for the appropriate authority

What ORVIA does not do

  • Regulate, inspect or make statutory decisions
  • Provide clinical care or clinical opinion
  • Guarantee compliance, safeguarding outcome or professional acceptance
  • Replace the CQC, the local authority, the safeguarding partnership or the board
  • Promise reduced professional fees

For commissioners and accountable leaders

ORVIA is not part of the organisation being reviewed. Independent scrutiny, traceable findings, named human accountability — the kind of read a board can act upon.
